The aim of the association is to contribute to the educational, social and economic development of women and children in Africa, to a better respect of their human rights and to enhance their health.
La Palabre prioritises education and training, and by non-violent means, opposes every form of inequality, violence and racism. The association fights every form of harmful traditional practises, having a negative effect on the health of women and children, in particular female genital mutilation, child marriages, forced marriages and honour related violence.
